obsidian armor?
what does the term obsidian armor mean? I read it on the guild wars website, is that some fancy name for the 60k armor or something?

Could be the name of a specific type of 15k armor? Or maybe the elementalist skill obsidian flesh: for 8-18 seconds you cannot be the target of enemy spells and gain +20AL but are slowed down by 50%

dunno... but on the guild wars website this is what it said...
We expect polishing and balancing the new system to take another week and look forward to sharing the changes with you then. Response so far from our testers has been overwhelmingly positive, and we believe this addition will improve the overall experience for everyone who plays the game. One final note: Some of you will wonder if we've forgotten that ascended characters with obsidian armor need challenges too... Don't worry. You're next. ~ James Phinney |

Armor found in the Fissure that requires Obsidian Shards. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it also on the Underworld armor?

I would assume it means the 15k Fissure armour that requires, among other things, obsidian shards.

is the armor from the fissure with these obsidian charms worth getting if you already have the 15k armor from the southern shiverpeaks? and if it is, do you know how much cloth and scales it is for the ele's pyromancer amror down there?

does it require cloth and scales? I think it requires globs of ectoplasm, obsidian shards, and some other crazy crap. :P

Children - It's gonna take you about 100 more shards easily...don't remember how much ecto is required....but the amounts of each are insane.

It requires 105 Ectoplasm Globs and 105 Obsidian Shards for the Elemtalist armors. (At an average cost of 3.%K per shard or glod) + all the materials that he regular 15K armor requires + 60K in gold if you don't need a head piece. The FoW armor looks way different and better than the 15K amor from citadel (at least for elemantilist). All of one classes armor has the same graphic (Pyro and Aero armor look the same).
Hope this helped |

No armor has better stats than the simple 1.5K stuff from D.Forge. (But the fissure armor does let you mix sets and still have a unified look )
